Growing spiritually together
Connect Groups
Don’t do life alone! Genesis groups offer opportunities for fellowship, growth, and
encouragement. Connect Groups consist of a large group broken up into tables of 5-6 people. Begining with large group lesson and quick breaking into table discussions around the topic, prayer, and application our everyday lives. This layout is designed to encourage more casual spiritual conversation between one another while answering thought-prevoking questions.
Genesis Men
The Men’s Connect Group at Genesis is for all men! No matter your background or stage of life, we want to meet you right where you are. It’s a place to connect with like minded men, learn to deal with every day struggles, and grow to be the man God has called you to be. It will meet for 10 weeks in the Spring & Fall at the Warehouse on the Genesis Campus, with several fun events throughout the year as well.
Sisterhood
The Sisterhood at Genesis welcomes women of every background and stage of life with open arms. Wherever you find yourself, we’re here to embrace you just as you are. Our aim is to provide a space where you can discover friendship, encouragement, support, and prayer to empower you in your daily journey. We gather for 10 weeks each in the Spring and Fall, coming together in the main auditorium at Genesis for enriching discussions and connections. Throughout the year, we also host several enjoyable events, fostering a sense of community and sisterhood. Join us as we navigate life together and deepen our walk with Christ.
Discipleship Groups
Discipleship Groups (D-Groups) provide an essential environment for every believer to have intimate friendships, accountability, and most importantly, a life rooted deeply in God’s Word. As we do the work to live out our God-given calling as we follow Jesus and make disciples every day, Discipleship Groups are an integral part of the process.
D-Groups are gender-specific, closed groups of 3-5 believers who meet together weekly for the purpose of accelerated spiritual transformation. It is not evangelistic in its form or function, but in its fruit: It makes disciples who will then go on to make more disciples. Discipleship Groups form through pre-existing, meaningful relationships with other believers in environments like Connect Groups or Volunteer Teams. Because of this, Discipleship Groups are not simply joined, but started.
Small Groups
Small Groups are typically made up of 5 – 12 people who meet in a home or intimate setting led by a Small Group Leader. This atmosphere allows for deeper connections through transparency & authentic relationships by doing life together outside of a large group setting. Studies vary by group and are based on principles of faith, common interests or needs, or Bible-based studies. Training & mentorship is available to anyone interested in leading a Small Group.
